What is Moussaka?

Well, I have to admit that receiving many cards from all over the world is the best way to travel around for this time. Too many places to dream, but too little chance to travel. There are still many things to do in my desk, my table, my living room, my kitchen... I think they perfectly wrapped me in order not to go somewhere else.

But hey, what's wrong with that? I shouldn't grumble on things happened to me. I still have lovely family and nice friends to share precious moments. Do not dream if you already have heaven in your palm :)

This card is from my new friend in Greece. At the first time he offered cards to swap, I did curious at this recipe card. What's that? It looks like 'martabak' with chili sauce for me :))

And here it is, a very tempting Moussaka is in my table. Ofcourse it's only the picture in a postcard. Janis, the kind person sent this card, told me that Moussaka is a Greek dish made of ground lamb, eggplants and tomatoes, with cheese on top. You can see its recipe on above picture.

Hmmm... combination of aubergines / eggplants with mince, tomatoes and cheese, could you imagine how the taste of the food? For Indonesian, this kind of food is not so familiar. We hardly ever mixed eggplants with above mentioned ingredients in our recipe.

But I think we should try it for a new culinary experience, ofcourse except the wine. Most of us are forbidden to drink wine or any other alcoholic ones.

Thanks for the card, Janis. I'm so sorry if it's too late to upload it in my blog. I have to send Indonesian recipe too for you in case you want to try our spicy traditional food ;)
